How to figure out exactly what you need in under 5 minutes

Buying a water filter feels harder than it should be. "Whole house" vs "under sink" vs "point of entry" vs "RO" it sounds like a different language. Here's the truth: almost every homeowner falls into one of five simple categories. Find yours below.

Step 1: Answer This One Question First

"Do I want to treat ALL the water in my house, or just the water I drink and cook with?"

• All of it (showers, laundry, dishwasher, every faucet) → You need a Whole House System. Skip to Section A.

• Just drinking/cooking water → You need a Point-of-Use System (under sink, countertop, or fridge). Skip to Section B.

Most people actually want both eventually — but you should always solve your biggest problem first, and that's usually whole-house.

Section A: Whole House Systems (Treats Every Drop Entering Your Home)

These install where the main water line enters your house — basement, crawl space, garage, or utility closet. One system, every faucet protected.

Well Water — your water source is unregulated, so the type of problem matters a lot more:

Perfect if you rent, don't want a big install, or just care about what you're actually drinking/cooking with.

B1. What's the setup at your sink?

B2. Want mineral-enhanced water?
